CHILDREN 1ST receive £3 Million

PLAYERS OF PEOPLE’S POSTCODE LOTTERY MAKE IT EASY AS ONE, TWO, THREE MILLION FOR CHILDREN 1ST

Christmas came early for leading Scottish children’s charity CHILDREN 1ST when money raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery topped a whopping £3million.

The milestone means that even more vulnerable children will benefit from the support provided by the charity which works to ensure every child and young person in Scotland has a happy, healthy, safe and secure childhood.

Director of Fundraising, Kate Smith, said: “Players of People’s Postcode Lottery make a tremendous contribution to our work and this is a fantastic moment to celebrate, especially in our anniversary year.

“The RSSPCC was founded 130 years ago by individuals who joined together to protect Scotland’s children. Today, as CHILDREN 1ST, we still rely on people giving their time, skills and expertise to support our work.

“On behalf of the 16,000 children, young people and their families that CHILDREN 1ST helped last year – and all the children that have gone before – I’d like to say a massive thank you.”
