Postcode Children Trust was established in June 2014 to provide financial assistance to charities working in Great Britain and overseas whose activities benefit children and young people that save lives; improve health systems; provide education to communities; help to prevent and relieve poverty; promote equality and diversity; encourage the advancement of public participation in sport and relief of those in need regardless of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
The Trust currently funds a selection of charities meeting the objectives of the Trust. It is proactive in approaching charities and, as funds grow, will thoroughly research and select potential beneficiaries who will be invited to apply. Postcode Children Trust operates its own society lottery and receives all of its funding from players of People's Postcode Lottery.
